When buying a bark collar for your dog you need to check for a few features. Your bark collar needs to have an adjustment feature. The intensity of the irritation must be able to be increased or decreased as needed. The Bark collar must also have the American humane Society seal as well as the complete training video and kit. If any of these features are missing then don’t purchase it.

Bark collars are not a cure all. They are designed to improve the situation and encourage better behavior. Your dog is still going to bark and behave as normal. The bark collar will hopeful reduce the intensity.

If you have a dog that barks to the point of irritation, then you may want to consider one of the anti bark collars. They are safe and will not harm your dog. However, you must keep things in perspective. It won’t cure the problem completely but can potentially make it a lot better.
