Dog Behavior

Anyone who takes on the ownership of a dog has to learn to put up with dog behavior. Some dog behavior is cute but some can be annoying. Sometimes dogs can show aggressive behavior which is something that needs to be modified.

Dogs do however need to be shown who is boss. If they show aggression towards you, the best thing to do is look them in they eye and state firmly, some sort of stop command. They will back down eventually. Do not hit a dog that is showing aggressive dog behavior. This could make the problem worse and you might get a nasty bite.

You should learn to recognize dog play behavior. Many times when dogs are playing they look like they are fighting or acting aggressive. If they are playing they should stop when you command them to. If hair is standing up on their backs then this is a sign that they are angry.

Finally, you may want to consider obedience behavior dog training. This is great stimulation for the dog. They will learn to obey you and you will learn how to communicate with your pet. They are well worth the money and loads of fun.
